iRT is a behavioral sciences research company that is committed to conducting innovative and rigorous basic and applied research as well as creating products and services that better society with a focus on enhancing the mental health, school functioning, health, and quality of life of children, adolescents, families, communities, and organizations. iRT employees apply cutting edge clinical and technical knowledge and skills to developing and evaluating evidence-based programs and services. iRT has a growing reputation for the development, evaluation, and sales of high-quality intervention and assessment programs and services in the areas of mentoring, disabilities, positive youth development, aggression and bullying, social-emotional learning, mental health, sexual health, substance abuse, and education.

iRT has developed software, websites, and web and mobile applications for a variety of different customers including children, adolescents, young adults, parents, mentoring programs, schools, community colleges, 4-year colleges and universities, positive youth development programs, afterschool programs, private nonprofit organizations, mental health agencies, secure juvenile justice facilities, courthouses, and the public mental health system.

iRT has provided training in the use of software products as well as ongoing technical support for software users. Responses to consumer satisfaction surveys indicate that iRT’s software customers (e.g., teachers, professionals, volunteers, mentors, parents, substance abuse prevention professionals, youth receiving services) are very satisfied with our products and the technical assistance we have provided, and believe that the assessment tools and online, self-paced training courses are user-friendly and effective.

iRT has also provided clinical and technical training in both in-person and web-based formats to educators, prevention specialists, mentoring agency staff members, positive youth development workers, mental health and substance abuse professionals, juvenile court and family judges, and juvenile court counselors. When appropriate, iRT has provided handouts and manuals, as well as offering Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

As an interdisciplinary contract research organization, iRT is uniquely positioned to provide the highest quality environment to conduct the proposed research. iRT is well-equipped to provide the required institutional support, physical resources, and equipment to support the investigators of the proposed project. Taken together, the scientific environment and grants management experience at iRT will contribute to a high probability of success of the proposed project.
